Poetry 151: The Glass Hive II

The Glass Hive II
by Aidenn A. Spelling

I am surrounded
By fragile walls
That could crack
That could shatter

I feel the vibrations
…the movements
…the tension
I hear the reverberations

I despise the monotony
…of voices
…of ringtones
…of endless chatters

It is caving in on me
…the force
…the gravity
…the power

Will a breath of fresh air
Save my sanity?
Maintain my dignity?
Let me live without mutiny?
