Poetry 113: Across the Ocean (Chapter Three)

Across the Ocean (Chapter Three)
by Aidenn A. Spelling

A phone call can reveal
Things that seem surreal
A plane ride might be better
Make the trip a little shorter

Two from the eastern hemisphere
Will travel far with no fear
And leave their daughter behind
To care for pups so cute so kind

They’ll undo what now seems blue
They’ll prepare concoctions, not for flu
A brew of ingredients that will heal
A potion that’s not meant to conceal

A magical mixture of truth and honey
Of spices and advices all for free
No fairy tales involved here
Just love and family acting as cavalier

THE END
